The City of Dayton offers new and existing businesses the opportunity to apply for a grant for commercial signage. Grant recipients will be reimbursed for 50% of the costs associated with the new or updated signage, up to $1,500. Applicants must apply and be approved prior to purchasing the sign.
Have a fixer-upper that could use some TLC? Recipients of our Facade Improvement Grant may be awarded 50%, up to $10,000 to improve their building’s facade. Applicable exterior renovations only in the Central Business District.
Starting a business can be an overwhelming experience. We want to make it easier by assisting our grant recipients in paying their monthly rent. Grant awards are available for up to 50% of rent for the first 12 months, 25% for the second 12 months, and 10% for the last 12 months.
