Public Works Department Services:

The City of Dayton Public Works department is tasked with the upkeep and maintenance of all City streets, sidewalks, landscaping, parks and infrastructure. See resident services below:

Leaf pick-up

October through November 30 (weather permitting); please fill out the online form or call the city building (859) 491-1600 to be added to the list.

Recycling

The City no longer accepts old tires or liquids (paint, oil, antifreeze, etc.) for recycling. To recycle these items, please visit the Campbell County Drop-Off Recycling Program.

Garbage Drop-Off

Dayton homeowners receive one free dump per year (pickup truckload only; NO CONTRACTORS) Household waste only; no building materials, such as drywall or wood. Visit the city building to obtain a permit and make an appointment.
