Weekly Update: November 21, 2023
Here’s what to know this week, Dayton:
- City Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
- Property Tax payments are due by November 30th. All mailed payments postmarked on November 30th will be honored as timely payments. You may also visit our website to pay your bill online here: https://dayton.campbell.ky.pontemsoftware.com
- Want to support local businesses in Dayton during the holiday season? The City of Dayton, Kentucky is selling Dayton Dollars in $10 and $25 amounts. Dayton Dollars can be used at participating Dayton businesses and make great Christmas gifts!
- It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The public works crew have begun the process of decorating the City for the holiday season with special attention to Sixth Avenue, Monument Park, and the City Building. Lights will be on beginning Friday, November 24th!
- Trash pickup by Republic Services will be delayed one day this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Thursday pickup is rescheduled for Friday, Friday pickup is rescheduled for Saturday.
- Tuesday, November 21: City Council Meeting at Dayton Community Center (625 2nd Ave) at 7:00 p.m.
