The City of Dayton has a number of boards on which city residents serve. Meeting dates, times, and locations can be found on the calendar. Some monthly meetings are cancelled if no items are on the agenda. To confirm a meeting is being held on a regularly scheduled meeting date, please contact the city building at (859) 491-1600.
Under Kentucky law, the Mayor appoints the members of these boards. Below are details of each board and a brief summary of boards’ duties and responsibilities. For a full description of these duties and responsibilities, we recommend reading the applicable Dayton Code of Ordinance and/or Kentucky Revised Statute section listed in each description.
